About Me
Hey 👋 — I'm Nic Reichert, a senior software engineer currently based in San Pellegrino Terme, Italy 🇮🇹. I work on full-stack TypeScript products, using mostly React and for the UIs and Node.js for the services, APIs, and platforms behind them.
Lately, I've been wiring AI services, CMS platforms, and other backends into products that ship. In my day job, working at a large fintech, I've been working with AI translations systems, CMS platforms, creating self-service configuration for localization, AEO and SEO. Before that, I worked at Mews, building UIs for identity and billing dashboards, and at Revolut, as part of the design system team, serving all the products — consumer facing and internal.
Over the last 10+ years, I've build software for the most varied industries: fintech, hospitality, entertainment, construction, games. I put a lot of energy into accessibility, performance, and how shared UI feels to other engineers. I also enjoy mentoring less experienced engineers, interviewing, and helping set technical direction are part of the job.
Earlier in my career, I was a tech lead in a couple of projects at STRV (VeVe / Ecomi, Tulip Cremation), and at ACTUM Digital, where I set coding standards and direction.
On the side, I work on my pet project, Schedlar, a scheduling platform for families, and enjoy chill family time and an occasional gelato 🍦.
